This stunning 18th century George III press on chest is a stunning piece of furniture from the Georgian period.
This piece comes in wonderful condition and has been crafted with solid mahogany panels. It has 2 doors which open to reveal a vast amount of hanging space. Shelves could also be placed back if the owner would prefer. There are 4 drawers underneath, perfect for storing clothing or shoes. These are fitted with original swan neck handles.
The top of the cabinet features dental moulding atop an ogee scroll. The cabinet is oak lined, and further finished off with elegant bracket feet.
This wonderful press on chest would be perfect for a bedroom, or even to be used as a linen press in your country home.
