This is an outstanding example of a 19th-century English mahogany console table, featuring a beautiful, original patina. It boasts an upper shelf, with a rectangular-shaped back, decorated with scrollwork to either side. The table top sits on elaborate, heavy cabriole legs. This piece dates from c. 1860.
