Introducing an incredible piece for the ages: a rare William IV mahogany secretaire cabinet.
This exquisite piece was crafted in London circa 1830 by makers Simson and Son. At first glance, the piece looks like a “mini piano” which adds lovely intrigue! When the desk is opened and slides out, the secretaire reveals a beautiful tooled leather top with table level storage compartments. The upper front of the cabinet then slides up to uncover various small drawers and compartments for your stationery and important paperwork and treasures.
Everything tucks back in neatly and the upper storage is locked in safely.
The outer carvings in the rich mahogany are classic William IV style, as are the beautifully detailed ball feet.
We invite you to come in to the store to see this magnificent piece for yourself, or if you are further afield we are happy to send you more videos, photos, and detail. Drop us a note to see how much delivery is to your location with our trusted carriers.
