Classy and elegant in design, this mahogany decanter stand was made circa 1830. It has a lovely richness and patina to the mahogany that can only be improved with time.
The inner felt has been restored to perfection, and the box would have housed 6 hobnail decanters. As there are no mouldings, this decanter stand could be used in this modern day to store any type of treasure or be used as storage for sewing supplies, games, books, or other knick-knacks.
