Rare English pollard oak chest c.1880

This fine quality chest was crafted in England circa 1880.

Made from pollard oak, the timber has a light but warm feeling to it, which would suit many modern day interiors. The piece features cross banding on the top, with the original pierced brass handles. There are 5 drawers in total (2 half width and 3 full width), with ample storage space for your clothing or belongings.

The chest rests on handsome bracket feet, synonymous with the era.
