Mary Gregory style uranium glass jug c.1890

This wonderful water jug is made from uranium glass.

Crafted c.1890, it has been handpainted in Mary Gregory style and depicts a sailor boy holding a toy boat. The top of the jug features a lovely scalloped pattern and the whole piece glows very brightly when under a UV light.
