Introducing an elegant English mahogany secretaire from the era of George III.
This wonderful writing bureau is the perfect compliment to any apartment or bedroom due to its space saving nature. Store your clothes or papers, and have the piece double as a study desk.
Crafted from rich mahogany, this piece holds the usual charm and character of Georgian furniture from the period. It features 5 drawers (2 x half width and 3 x full width), all running beautifully with lots of storage space. The secretaire desk unlocks and opens up to be supported by two rails running either side of the bureau. The desktop has ample room for your laptop and papers.
Behind the desk are various compartments and small drawers for storing stationery and papers. These are beautifully decorated with satinwood inlays, adding finesse to the piece.
The desk is finished with original brass handles, locks, and hinges, and rests on bracket feet.
