19th Century English rosewood mercury banjo barometer c.1870

This beautifully made English barometer was crafted c.1870.

Made from sumptuous rosewood, this piece is beautifully inlaid with fine mother of pearl decorative floral patterns. It has a clear silvered dial and is mercury filled for measuring barometric pressure.
