19th Century English oak pedestal writing desk c.1870

Introducing a handsome writing desk crafted in England circa 1870.

Beautifully made from warm oak, the desk is in a pedestal style with two side flanking legs and graceful feet which are finished with practical castors for ease of movement.

The desk top has beautifully rounded corners and is embellished with a warm antique brown tooled leather top. This has decorative gilding around the edges.

This desk is the perfect size to use as study desk without being too cumbersome. There is plenty of legspace underneath for even tall folk.
