This finely crafted writing box was made circa 1850.
The rich, dark coromandel wood is smooth and high quality. The lid opens to reveal a writing slope, and various compartments for stationery and other writing supplies. There is a lift out tray, and two glass ink wells to complete the set.
This writing box would make a wonderful gift for the budding writer or poet.
