Valentine’s Antique Gallery presents Australian artist, Victor Rubin from March 18th. Spanning a career over 50 years, artist Victor Rubin has lead a decorated career. He has been a finalist in the Archibald Prize, the Sir John Sulman Prize (three times), the Blake Prize, and the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize. His works vary greatly with some pieces being inspired by the likes of Picasso and Braque. Victor will be displaying a number of works which will be available for purchase at Valentine’s over the autumn months. The collection depicts various works with an Australiana theme ranging from streetscapes, to landscapes, to portraiture, and cricketing legends. |
