Regency Mahogany Four Drawer Press on Chest, c. 1830

This stunning Regency mahogany four drawer (two small and two larger beneath) press on chest, or gentleman’s chest, features scrollwork to the top and book matched flame mahogany door panels. The three interior shelves are removable. While this chest would suit a bedroom in a country-style or traditional home, it could also work well as a linen press in a hallway, or as providing extra storage in a guest bedroom. It dates from c. 1830.
